Therapy That Meets You Where You Are.
Whether you're dealing with anxiety, trauma, burnout, or a general sense of disconnection, I offer a grounded and compassionate presence to help you find clarity and resilience — at your own pace.
My approach
As a relational therapist, I believe that healing happens in the context of connection—both with others and within ourselves. In our sessions, we’ll engage in traditional talk therapy, which involves exploring your thoughts, emotions, personal history, and the patterns that shape how you relate to the world. This reflective dialogue helps build insight and clarity.
But insight alone isn’t always enough. That’s why I also integrate somatic techniques—approaches that gently bring awareness to the body and its sensations. Many of our deeper patterns and unresolved traumas live in the body, not just the mind. By combining verbal processing with Somatic Experiencing®, we can access a fuller picture of your experience and support more lasting, embodied healing.
Together, we’ll create a grounded, collaborative space where your growth unfolds at your own pace.
What is Somatic Experiencing?
Somatic Experiencing® (SE™) is a body-based approach to healing trauma and chronic stress. Developed by Dr. Peter Levine, SE is based on the understanding that trauma is not just a psychological experience—it’s something that also lives in the nervous system and the body.
Rather than requiring you to retell or relive past events, SE focuses on tuning into the subtle physical sensations that arise in the present moment. These sensations often hold the key to where stress, fear, or overwhelm may be “stuck” in the body. By gently guiding your awareness to these sensations and allowing them to shift at your own pace, SE helps your nervous system complete unfinished survival responses—leading to greater resilience, regulation, and a renewed sense of safety in your body.
Somatic Experiencing can be especially helpful if traditional talk therapy has felt overwhelming, overly analytical, or hasn’t fully resolved deeper patterns. It’s a gentle yet powerful method that supports healing from the inside out.
