I’m a California based psychotherapist who is deeply passionate about integrating traditional talk therapy with somatic approaches. My work is rooted in the belief that healing happens not just through insight, but through connection—both with others and with our own bodies.
Over the years, I’ve committed to doing my own inner work, and I bring that ongoing personal growth into the therapy room. I show up with both a strong foundation of trauma-informed training and a very human presence. I aim to meet each client with warmth, curiosity, and care—creating a space that feels collaborative and real.
As a queer person, I’m especially passionate about supporting LGBTQIA+ individuals in navigating identity, relationships, trauma, and the complexities of being human. I understand the importance of being seen—not just as a set of symptoms or struggles, but as a whole person.
Outside of the therapy room, you can usually find me at the beach, at home cooking, sipping tea, or spending time with my partner. I also enjoy a bit of reality TV—Housewives fans, anyone?
About me
I’m originally from the Central Coast of California and have lived all along the West Coast, from Southern California to the Pacific Northwest. I also spent three years in Vermont, where I began my therapy practice. After years of exploring different parts of the country, I’ve returned to my roots and now live back in San Luis Obispo county.
My academic journey took place in the Bay Area, where I earned a Bachelor’s in Social Welfare from UC Berkeley and a Master’s in Counseling Psychology from the Wright Institute.
After graduate school, my clinical work began at the Rainbow Community Center, where I provided mental health counseling for LGBTQ+ individuals and their allies. I also served as a school counselor at Acalanes High School, offering counseling and drop-in support for students. I completed my clinical training at the Liberation Institute, a sliding scale therapy clinic in the heart of San Francisco, where I provided teletherapy services.
I’m now in my sixth year of private practice and currently completing my third and final year of training with Somatic Experiencing® International. I've had the privilege of working with clients both in person and via telehealth, and I continue to deepen my practice through ongoing supervision from Ellen Ottman, LMFT, and Jessica Irving, LPCC.
